Words of the President of our AbetInternational and of the holding J. C. Melo Technical Consulting Co.Inc, Dr. J. C. Melo, 78 years old with almost 60 years of continuous experience in IT, IT and business management:

Exactly in the period of that world crisis you should study to get your MBA, in order to be much more competitive in the job market.

At some point the economy is going to rebound. And when it does, it’s important to ensure that job teams remain excited to be part of the culture. Now more than ever it’s time to invest in talent.

Do not believe that a MBA should be obligatorily of long duration! We are not a "cheap" University, the five main reasons that explain our low cost MBAs are:

1. Our high Academic automation  (Unique in the World!), that include our revolutionary Semantic Content Analysis by computer, the result of our 14 years work in his research and creation. We are the first University of this kind in the entire world,

2. Our high Education automation (Unique in the World!). The paper handling of all lessons are highly automated,

3. Our teachers by telecommuter, our virtual team (defined as a team where members work together from remote geographical locations),

4. The readiness of the Web,

5. We are a non profit organization.

Because of the current world crisis, to help you we reduced the total costs of our MBAs. The below costs are the official, forget any former higher costs you see on other sites.

Finally, our name Abet means a mission to help you:

To encourage, incite, aid, help, countenance, foment, support, sustain, the inverse of deter, disapprove, frustrate, forbid.

You are an entrepreneur or an employee? How much are your old Business or IT Management skills costing you today?

Once you get lulled into the “business as usual” mode of operation eventually your business will naturally stop growing. The business press is littered with sad story’s about company’s that failed to keep up with their customers changing requirements.

As an entrepreneur or an employee, are your old skills of business management or IT management about to be expired? Both those worlds changed, and a lot! Now is the time to be a Next-Generation  entrepreneur  or employee: tech savvy, open-minded, multitasking!

In this time of economic turmoil the cry gets louder and louder,  for entrepreneurs and employees: "what do we do now"?

Well the answer lies in what you should have been doing all along - learning and planning! Rather than sitting around becoming more and more complacent, you should have been contemplating and planning for the inevitable. Even in this period of daily tales of woe some company's are prospering and even beating their forecasts. Think about developing the answers to Bob Donnelly's fundamental questions: where are we now? where do we want to be? and, how are we going to get there?

Some firms even have "contingency plans" - imagine that. Nothing goes up forever. Business or IT managements are about learning and change. Faster, better, cheaper is the driving force of any entrepreneur or any employee.

Do not believe that a MBA should be obligatorily of long duration!

FastTrack is a MBA with a duration of four and half months, or alternatively in one year.

FastTrack is the same curriculum of our  one year MBA duration course, or other Universities one or two duration MBA courses. In reality we are better, nor 2% of the MBA schools in the World teach our Next-Generation MBA curriculums! A recent report from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, lambasted its members for maintaining a curriculum that is out of touch with modern business practices, because  they teach a 48 years old MBA curriculum!

We suggest to begin with a FastTrack course and after 30 days, to decide if you will continue in him or to change to the one year course. Most of our students decides to continue in the FastTrack course and finish the course without any problem.

Brief Facts on
MBA of Chief Information Officer

S.  Maurer

Some broadband connections may have lëss than desirable reliability.  Where IP packets are lost or delayed at any point in the network between VOIP¹ users,  there will be a momentary drop-out of voice.  This is more noticeable in highly congested networks and/or where there is long distances and/or interworking between end points.

“Security is a vital part of planning for and deploying a new UC system,” says Trent Waterhouse,  vice president of marketing for Enterasys Networks,  a ShoreTel partner and maker of secure network infrastructure.

CIOs oversee a enterprise's technical purchases.  They look after services related to the IT¹ department.  But CIOs aren't just techies.  Their role crosses over technical and Management boundaries.

A general distinction is usually made between VOIP¹ services that function over managed networks [via broadband connections] and VOIP¹ services that function over unmanaged networks [essentially,  the Internet]: - the former are often considered to be a viable substitute for PSTN telephone services [despite the problems of power outages and lack of geographical information]; as a result,  major operators that provide these services [in practice,  incumbent operators] may find themselves bound by obligations of price control or accounting separation; - the latter are often considered to be too poor in quality to be a viable substitute for PSTN services; as a result,  they may be provided without any specific obligations,  even if a service provider has significant market power.  A

Virtualization Management software enables IT¹ system administrators to monitor and maintain what once were many servers from one common interface.

There is no doubt in my mind that enterprises should elaborate a broad and a complete Customer Relationship Management CRM¹ strategy that thoroughly covers all clients’ contact points and integrates both their back office and front office.

Adhere to established architecture guidelines similar to what the U.S.  Government is doing with its Federal Enterprise Architecture.  Following common guidelines makes IT¹ easier to connect systems into a seamless network within an agency or enterprise,  and across organizational boundaries.

The first IT¹ consideration is strategic alignment.  Is the project consistent with the agency’s overall mission and goals? Next is efficiency.  Does the project achieve those goals in the most efficient way possible,  or is there a better way to produce the same result?

Virtual machines can be used to provide secure,  isolated sandboxes for running untrusted applications.  You could even create such an execution environment dynamically - on the fly - as you download something from the Internet and run IT¹.

Online CRM¹ automated help is proving to be the great saver of team,  money,  and staff resources goes B2B players.

A problem is that CRM¹ means different things to different people.  For some,  CRM¹ means direct e-mails.  For others,  IT¹ is mass customization or developing products that fit individual Customer's needs.  For IT¹ consultants,  CRM¹ translates into complicated technical jargon related to terms like OLAP [on-line analytical processing] and CICs [Customer interaction centers].

We do know this: CIOs and CFOs who seek collaboration and learn how to practice IT¹ will soon see the benefits.  Today would be a good day to start.

As hardware advances enable more processing power to be put in one physical server,  IT¹ departments are consolidating multiple servers into a single physical unit.  This reduces the total cost of ownership and maintenance on the hardware as well as reducing a data centers electric bill.

Multiple applications and operating systems can be supported within a single physical system Servers can be consolidated into virtual machines on either a scale-up or scale-out architecture Computing resources are treated as a uniform pool to be allocated to virtual machines in a controlled manner Isolation Virtual machines are completely isolated from the host machine and other virtual machines.

Helping clients to recall forgotten passwords is to team consuming and expensive task.  Thankfully,  CRM¹ vendors have developed software that can automate the process,  saving team and money.

MBA of Chief Information Officer CIO

An imperative course for IT professionals

"America's one and only economic driver for the next several decades rest in the hands of CIOs. That is the conclusion of economist W. Brian Arthur, Citibank professor at the Santa Fe Institute, who developed the modern theory of increasing revenues. Technology will connects systems, processes and functions within and between companies but it is up to the CIO to channel the connections -. July 2003".

This course teaches the basics of the business administration using the modern information technologies, and his intention is to give a general view of what now is the highest level of the professions related with the Information Technology, the "CIO Chief Information Officer".

It is not a formal course, but instead conceptual. Evidently, nobody becomes trained - for instance some recently-graduated or with few years of experience - to be a CIO Chief Information Officer. But he becomes trained about the experience road to be a CIO Chief Information Officer more faster and more safe.

CIO is the abbreviation of "Chief Information Officer " and is a new professional, usually between the President of the company and the other Directors including the IT Director. He does not replace the IT Director, with the exception in small companies.

A CIO Chief Information Officer has entrepreneurial experience and at the same time technical experience in Information Technologies. The entrepreneur usually has only the entrepreneurial experience and the information system manager has only on technical matters. However, business is more and more the information system and the information system is more and more the business.

In the next five years more and more the companies will need a CIO Chief Information Officer, that change technologies (computer, Internet, communications, etc) in businesses and therefore in profits.
